March 2011: FPG Finalist for 2011 Turnaround Awards by M&A Advisor. The M&A Advisor announced the finalists for its 2011 Turnaround Awards. FPG is a finalist in three seperate categories for this years awards amongst the 138 finalists representing over 110 different firms and deal teams in 31 categories in the distressed investing, restructuring and turnaround marketplace. An independent body of experts, who represent a cross-section of the turnaround industry, will judge the finalists' deals. On Monday March 7, the winners will be announced and honored at an Awards Gala at The Colony in Palm Beach, Florida. The Fine Point Group was nominated for three categories for the work completed as part of the Chapter 11 Reorganization of Greektown Casino - Hotel; Turnaround of the Year (Upper Middle Market), Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year (Upper Middle Market), and Media, Entertainment or Telecom.

February 2010: Marlene has been selected to join the G2E 2010 Advisory Board.
January 2010: Randy was chosen as one of The Top 25 People to Watch in 2010 by Global Gaming Business magazine.
January 2010: Randy was selected as one among only 12 people to watch in AC according to the People to Watch for 2010 in the January edition of Casino Connection magazine.

April 2009: FPG participated in the 11th Annual Olive Crest Rock 'n' Bowl for Kids 2009 was on Saturday April 4th. Marlene, Chrystal, and Jenny volunteered their time to ensure that the event organizers had a few less items to worry about - and made sure that all the children of Las Vegas Valley had fun.
February 2009: Randy was one of the celebrated top 40 business leaders under 40 for 2009 by In Business Las Vegas. The 40 Under 40 honorees were selected from a field of over 300 nominiations, based upon their levels of community service, entrepreneurial spirit and impact on respective industries.
January 2009: The Fine Point Group is excited to announce that we have been accepted as an Associate Member for the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA).
